The theme of the book is denial and acceptance and the line I chose depicts the moment I came face to face with the a specialist and his depiction of a bell curve to describe where our daughter landed on the graph.

I am a 70 year old first time author, married for over 48 years, with 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
I love to kayak, hike, ride my bike and camp.
My favorite authors are Joan Didion, Anne Lamont, Amy Tan and Margaret Atwood.
I like the idea of exploring the truths and lies parents tell themselves and as an older author, I learned I love experimenting with writing.
My newest goal is to try and bring about a more inclusive world through storytelling.
