Writing is like dancing. With one partner after another. A declarative sentence. A parenthetical expression. Bold, and with a question mark. A run on sentence that won’t stop running.
Writing is Like chocolate. Some days you have a page that resembles white chocolate, with nothing marring the surface. Other days your pages are full of a jumble of words that not everybody will like or understand, similar to dark chocolate. Often the page resembles Milk chocolate, containing the right balance of prose that allows you to find the sweetness in life with just a hint of the bitterness of reality.
Thank you so much! I understand what you mean about 'learning as we go' - ever since I got my book deal and became a published author, I keep telling myself the same thing! Wonderful to hear from you.

What a joy to have you here with us at OLOL Gary!
Might there even be some twirling?
🤔🤷🏽 I’m more inclined in my circumstances, to resemble the lyric by The Mamas and the Papas: “I’m gonna trip, stumble, and fall” 🎵🎶
All soft landings here at One Line, One Love. 🤩
Thank you for this great interview. I'm off to get a bushel of M&Ms.
😂 This is Gail... Jay's going to inspire us all to have jars of M&M's within reach. Yum!
Writing is like breathing in the clouds, and breathing out stardust.
Oh — Beautiful imagery Sharon.💫
How wonderful to have you here with us!

I heard about your podcast via Karen DeBonis and I'd love to be a podcast guest. Let me know!

Writing is like running. One word at a time...one step at a time.
Yes! Thank you for sharing Julie.
You bet! I love what you are doing here. Thank you.
Writing is like creating the world you want to live in, one word at a time.
Thank you!! List of ideas great way to keep those thoughts in front of you. Just going to grabbing some candy and have some fun writing.
Swedish fish and M&M. Yum!
One of the things that Jay continues to inspire -- and calls to my surface is -- FUN.
Often... all it takes to get there is a shift in perspective. 😁
