Cindy, the book cover is gorgeous! I love it. I'm so excited for you. Now I want to go to Barcelona!

P.S. I've never read a romance novel...yours will be my first. :) YAY!

I was languid and ferocious, all at once. With a paper straw, I slurped drops of sweet tea hiding between cubes of ice, then placed the sweaty plastic cup on a thirsty coaster. The book in my hand spoke of white sand beaches and naps in the sun. And when my phone rang and announced the caller, I picked it up and tossed it across the room.

😂

Thanks for the prompt!!!

Haha!

Is this how fiction works?

I don’t know who it is! 🤭

That's exactly how I write...always surprised by the characters. Who shows up? What do they do?

I recall Beverly Delidow reading scenes of fiction that “just appeared” for her when we hosted open mic sessions in The Creative’s Workshop. Fascinating!

Did you happen to see Jay’s blog today?

It was a joy to share a conversation with you Cindy! You are a bright light. 💡I love what you shared with us regarding your characters and how you have grown into giving them both personality and physical traits/possessions that are different than your own. Any fiction I write is still very close to "me". :)
